Flat Roofs

The very mention of flat roofs or flat roofing is likely to bring people out in a cold sweat.  This is not surprising because for most owners of flat roofs have had expensive and regular maintenance problems.

A lot of flat roofs are made from felt which has a very limited life of 10 – 15 years.  Once the rain has got under the felt it is not uncommon for the deck beneath to fail particularly if it is made from chipboard.

This service includes stripping and disposing of the old roof surface including the deck if necessary and replacing it with a new timber deck.  The roof is then laminated in situ with two layers of glass matting, using a high quality resin system.  New trims are fitted all around which are fully laminated to the main roof deck providing a seamless one piece roof covering.  This will not leak and will provide a very long trouble free service life.

.GRP makes an excellent material for use on a veranda because it is very tough and will withstand pedestrian traffic, deck chairs etc.  It can also be installed with a non-slip surface to give added safety when walking on it if it is wet.
